The Groves family have been running a garden nursery in Bridport, Dorset since 1866 and now operate two destination garden centres in the area.
When the time came to revamp their web presence Media Orb were pleased to be chosen to work alongside Groves existing design team to undertake the development and online marketing of the project and turn the designs into a functional and successful e-commerce website.
The website was developed using Opencart as a base with plenty of bespoke coding and customised functionality required to provide solutions to issues such as customer loyalty schemes.
The marketing team at Media Orb worked closely with Groves on an ongoing basis to ensure that the website ranked for their key product groups and have successfully achieved many first page and number one Google rankings, including for the keyword ‘violets’ which returns almost 3 billion results! Overall the website has seen a 500% increase in rankings in the last two years.
